Monday Night Team Training BJJ - CT Brazilian Jiu-jitsu

Today in team training we continued focusing on how to control somebody who is actively trying to escape from side control, specifically trying to get to the turtle, by applying pressure in the right spots of our training partners body we can force them to use additional strength to get to the position and create fatigue. We then went over how to trap your training partner in a cycle of positions where they can not quite ever get to a good position, and actually forcing them to move into positions. By creating situations where people are pressured so much that they have to move into a worse position just to not have to carry your weight.
