Crossroads Martial Arts Curriculium: Lesson 10

Lesson 10 of the Crossroads Martial Arts Curriculium focus' on Back Contol, understand what positions you want to keep with your arms, your shoulders and your chin to make submission attempts much more difficult, allowing you more time to escape and improve your position. Improving your position is what separates Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from other martial arts, put yourself in positions where you can use technique to control a larger and stronger opponent.

Having Back Control in a fight is the best position to have. This position allows you to control the fight in a position where your opppnent has no way to harm you. So it is essential to escape this position. The second part of this class covers two examples of how to escape.
