Had a great time with the folks at crossroads BJJ gym. I'm a visitor from out of town and the welcomed me in. No attitudes nothing but friendly folks! Their professor Dustin Rhodes is very knowledgeable and inviting. I got a chance to roll with him and even though he could shut me down with every move you was light and respectful of my abilities. This is reflected in his students. Not one meathead in the bunch . Any way, top notch. Thanks for letting me train with you all!

Cool men and women that enjoy learning and helping one another get better. Quality of instruction is very good, and it’s obvious that a lot of care is put into the development of the trainees. Nothing is free so you’ll have to put in the time on the mats to progress. Be prepared to discover the many stages of white belt. Great exercise and a lot of fun learning a useable skill that not many people out there know.

2 Years of BJJ in Waterford,CT

2 Years of High Quality BJJ in CT

Crossroads Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is proud to have brought high level Brazilian Jiu-jitsu instruction to Waterford,CT during 2012. This marks the second full calender year we have served New London County Connecticut and our gym is very excited to continue helping BJJ grow during 2013.

2012 brought many achievements for both the students of Crossroads BJJ and the school as a whole. Both on and off the mat students have reached the goals they have set for themselves. On the mat Crossroads BJJ students achieved new rank, reach their fitness goals and took home some hardware at the local BJJ and Grappling tournaments NAGA and Grapplers Quest . Off the mat one of our students completed an MBA, while another student was accepted as an officer into the Air Force. Over the last year as a school we have not only grown in numbers but also in talent.

During this last year we were able to bring in Abu Dhabi Champion Radhames Familia to teach a guard passing seminar, this seminar was a huge success. One of the goals of CRBJJ is to provide the best Jiu-jitsu possible to those who wish to learn, that is why in 2013 we plan to bring in Radhames again for a seminar on sweeps. We will also be holding a seminar with the head of the TBBJJ network and 4th degree black belt Tim Burrill.

2013 will also mark another special event for CRBJJ. Crossroads BJJ will be starting off the new year by bringing in 8th Degree Black belt Carlos Machado to teach a special 3 hour seminar on January 19th. This seminar promises to be a very memorable experience. If you are interested in learning quality Jiu-jitsu from a man who has been practicing for over 45 years you can contact Crossroads BJJ owner and head instructor Dustin Rhodes at [email protected] and reserve your space today. If you are serious about getting better at Brazilain Jiu-jitsu attending a Carlos Machado Seminar is one of the best ways to do it.
