Had a great time with the folks at crossroads BJJ gym. I'm a visitor from out of town and the welcomed me in. No attitudes nothing but friendly folks! Cool men and women that enjoy learning and helping one another get better. Quality of instruction is very good, and it’s obvious that a lot of care is put into the development of the trainees. Nothing is free so you’ll have to put in the time on the mats to progress. Be prepared to discover the many stages of white belt. Great exercise and a lot of fun learning a useable skill that not many people out there know.

Crossroads BJJ is an excellent place for anyone with zero experience to more advanced. The classes are thought by people who are willing to help you out throughout the learning process and understand the importance of the basics in other to develop cohesive and fundamental grappling skills. Earlier this year Crossroads BJJ had the privilege of hosting Carlos Machado for the first of many Seminars to come. Carlos taught an array of techniques and strategies covering Mount Escapes, Spider Guard Passes, and both closed and open Guard sweeps. Carlos has an amazing teaching style, and is phenomenal at communicating an extraordinary amount of detail in a way that is easy to understand and implement.

The seminar brought Students from New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island to Southern Connecticut to learn Jiu-Jitsu from the best.
