This week at Crossroads BJJ we will be continuing our study of the mount position. The Mount is the second strongest position in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu only to having somebody pinned on there stomach, a position called back control. The mount gives you the ability to control your opponent in a position where they can not hit or submit you while you can.
While last week we talked mostly about controlling in the low mount, this week we will begin to work a more attack based approach to the position. By using the collar choke as well as other positional tactics to move into the high mount and S-Mount we can begin to create a loop or series of submission attempts eventually finishing with a submission.
See everybody in class
